Obese Man will get Death by Lethal Injection

A federal appeals court and the Ohio Supreme Court have rejected arguments that Richard Cooey is too obese to die by lethal injection. A three-judge panel of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit joined the Ohio Supreme Court in giving the go-ahead to execute the bastard.
He is scheduled to die Tuesday for killing two University of Akron students in 1986. He would be the first person executed in Ohio since the end of a de facto moratorium on lethal injection that lasted more than a year.
Thank God they gave the go ahead with the execution. I was amazed that this was even trying to be fought in our court system. It’s amazing what are tax dollars do on a daily basis.

Lethal injection is too humane for this animal-I say they drop him off the Y Bridge like he did the concrete slabs! He’s caused way too much pain and cost way too much money!
That this could be the basis for an appeal is beyond my comprehension.
This animal needs to be put out of his misery.
He should have been shot in public behind the courthouse immediately after his original conviction. I’ll be glad to supply the ammo.
On second thought, if he’s that fat, let the Ohio corrections officials put him on a Jenny Craig diet. Get this fat fucker down to about 150 and then take him out and shoot him.
I like both ideas! Lets put the two ideas together into one! We will make him loose weight, throw him off the bridge, then people can have a moving target to shoot at…
