I find myself just thinking to myself on what is in store for me this weekend. My girlfriend is away at a wedding and I will be heading up to Lake Winnipesaukee, NH. A few of my friends there have rented a house and it looks like another fabulous weekend of friends and drinking.

I think I may try the Shipyard Brewery Summer Ale this weekend. Random thought but I was just reading about it at a site I check out every once in awhile called the The Brew Club. Sounded like a great one to try on my mini vacation away, and I’m getting a little sick of the Sam Adams Summer Ale.

Anyhow a little bit more insight on myself and how my summer is going. I also play slow pitch softball during the summer and the fall. It’s that time of year when our summer league is starting their playoffs. We had no idea we were supposed to play tonight, until 11:00p.m. last night when the commissioner had sent out the schedules. I say Bullshit!!! Who sends out a schedule to a league less than 24hrs before you are supposed to play. I guess where I’m getting at is our team will not be playing because most of the team is in New Hampshire already for the weekend. Looks like we are already 1 game loss in a double elimination playoff. Oh well!!!

My summer over all is very good, though it’s flying by way to fast. I’ve been to the beach numerous times and got burnt on many occasions. All my friends are around and I even managed to fly back to see my family in Wisconsin for my birthday in June. I think the only thing I haven’t accomplished so far this summer is taking my girlfriend camping and going deep sea fishing. From the looks of things those might have to slip into Fall.

It has been a wild ride and there are still plenty of gorgeous days left to enjoy. How about you, have you accomplished what you wanted to during summer so far? Do you still need more time to accomplish something you want to do?
