Today’s word of the day was recently submitted into the dictionary from the long running hit television series : THE SIMPSONS
I’d like to thank Nicole, the girl with the CALLIPYGIAN (recently referred to in past word of the day), for bringing this to my attention.

Don’t have a cow man, but a word from The Simpsons has just been added to the Collins English Dictionary.

What’s that you say? You couldn’t care less, well now you could used the word ‘Meh’ to express your utter boredom and lack of interest in the odd news.

M-E-H which can mean unimpressed, mediocre or boring, has been added to the 30th anniversary edition of Collins English Dictionary which will be published in 2009.

The word made it as the public’s entry for the new edition - it was submitted by Erin Whyte from Nottingham, who clearly did care whether the word was added.

He said it was “an expression of utter boredom or an indication of how little you care for an idea”.
Cormac McKeown, head of content at Collins Dictionaries, says the word comes from the US with and that its use in The Simpons added to the argument it should be added the dictionary, in part because it is spelled out.

In an episode of The Simpsons Homer is trying to prise the kids away from the TV with a suggestion for a day trip.

They both just reply ‘meh’ and keep watching TV; he asks again and Lisa says ‘We said MEH! - M-E-H, meh!’

As a common rule, or at least one I know, is you leave your shoes on you are fair game to become embarrassed when you wake up in the morning. The pictures are from Halloween after a party in Boston where Caitlin was to spend the night.

“At the time I had jumped in the picture with the kid, I didn’t realize what had been drawn on him, which I take responsibility for not being alert,” Caitlin told TMZ.com. “Me and my girlfriends took pictures with him because we found it humorous how badly he was drawn on,” she said.

Its too bad to say we will no longer see this gorgeous woman on the sidelines cheering for the Patriots, now she will be at house parties cheering on the next guy to pass out!

Personally I think this is bull shit! I understand they are supposed to uphold a good reputation, but who is to say that she was the one writing everything on this guy. The other guys in the room probably just wanted to show him the photos of the day he almost met a N.E. Patriots cheerleader.
So if I was a cheerleader and ended up at a bar just having a good time with a few friends. All of a sudden a Black Panther, or a White Supremacist walks in and sits right down next to me, and someone flashes a photo and posts it on the net. I guess I would have to be looking for another job? Complete bull shit if you ask me.

If you haven’t heard about this yet your in for a treat. Outside a Philadelphia polling station, there were two Black Panther members in their uniform gear, suspected of intimidating voters. Watching the video below, I can’t believe the guy would respond that way. These are the kind of people that actually came out of the wood works and voted for Obama simply because the color of his skin. Yea I said it! It’s published and I don’t feel bad about it.

He seems to get pretty defensive thinking he knows all the laws in which media can be 10′ from the doors to any polling station. He may make a good candidate for the next election, deny, deny then lie! If you look below this is the video from the kid who actually had got the man with the night stick to be escorted off by police.

I am not a racist by no means, I just wanted to make that clear. I am curious on a few stats that I will never find. How many black people went out and registered to actually vote this year? How many Blacks voted this year compared to years prior? Did they actually pay attention to the topics at hand or did they vote simply because of the color of his skin?

Just out of curiosity I had gone to the Black Panther website and it doesn’t look like it has been updated since the existence of the internet. Anyhow they mention saying that the New Black Panther Party does not exist and it to be a washed up small group of people, read here. Though searching the internet I find that it can’t be that small of a group if they are holding events in parks with police patrol. I am curious to see which party these two gentlemen claim to be with.

Now I don’t want a huge political debate in the comments section, but leave me what your opinion is on this matter. I am going to say this again, I did not vote for either party so I don’t want people saying, “Oh so I take it you voted for McCain!!!”

Here is the first installment of many more to come of the Movie section here on Fennster. I am a little behind on this movie since it did come out in June, but I just watched it last night. If you haven’t seen it I would definitely give it a go.

This movie is directed by M Night Shyamalan, who has brought you movies like The Sixth Sense and the Village. The Happening stars Marky Mark , Mark Wahlberg and Zooey Deschanel. The movie is based on a air-born virus or so it seems, that has an impact on the human brain in which they commit suicide.

If your into watching people kill themselves with special effects, this movie is for you! If that doesn’t trip your trigger than I would think twice about renting this or paying the $5.00 to get it on demand from your cable provider.

I rate this movie 3 out of 5 Fennster F’s. The movie keeps you entertained though the story line really isn’t that great. Though the outcome once you realize what is causing the deaths of people, really gets you to think “what if”.

Now here is beer I was kind of forced to try as the bar I frequent had taken Blue Moon of the tap. I’m glad they did! Shock Top is a nice Belgian White brought to you from Anheuser-Busch, (yea the guys that sold out a while back)!

It is a rather nice unfiltered Belgian-style wheat ale. It’s naturally cloudy with the distinguished white foamy head, light golden in color and tastes of orange citrus peel and coriander. Being a unfiltered wheat ale, if drinking out of bottle make sure to leave about 1/2″ an inch on the bottom of bottle and roll around on counter before filling the rest of your glass. This will make sure to get any left over flavorings out of the bottle.

This beer had won won gold and bronze medals in the Belgian Wit (White) category at the 2006 and 2007 North American Beer Awards under the name Spring Heat Spiced Wheat, as it was just a seasonal beer they produced in 2006.

If you enjoy Blue Moon, give this one a try. It has more of the citrus taste and less of the I’m full feeling. Best served with an orange slice! So what are you waiting for go out and find some!!!

Here’s my first installment of the newest section in the Fennster experience. This is the Music section in case you had trouble figuring it out cause your in imbecile.

In this section we will try to inform you of either great new music or albums from the past that are either rare or exquisite.

You won’t find much Hip Hop in here from me, so if that’s your forte’, I apologize. It’ll mostly be music such as THE WHO, ZEPPELIN, CHILI PEPPERS, SUBLIME, BLIND MELON, TRAVELLING WILBURYS, AND many others like these that you probably never heard of.

Mr. Fenn(as in Fennsters dad), I am sorry if this one is boring to you in the beginning because J has already informed you of most of these groups or albums, be patient, I’ll get some in that will tickle your fancy.

The first album that I suggest everyone check out if they haven’t already is Metallica’s newest recording the “DEATH MAGNETIC” album. They have really re-invented themselves after the last 17 years of sub-par music. If you were a fan back in the day but lost interest, crank this up and enjoy. If you’ve never gotten into Metallica, I suggest giving it a shot, you may be surprised.

Oh, what the hell, I’ll throw one more group out there since this is the premier. It’s group called PEPPER. They have a resemblance to SUBLIME.

Check out any album, they’re all great. This song “GIVE IT UP” is off of the KONA TOWN (2002) album. It’s the edited version so some of the clever lyrics where changed and don’t quite feel as good so go pick up the cd to get the full feel.
